About Lanzhou University of Technology
Lanzhou University of Technology, a university of science and engineering with a long history, is located in Lanzhou, the provincial capital of Gansu Province, which was once an important fortress on China’s historic Silk Road. The university was first established in 1919. After 95 years of development, the university has become a comprehensive and well-recognized scientific and technological institution of high education. The University has great strength in engineering, a strong foundation in science fields and excellent programs in liberal arts. It has built a multi-disciplinary, multi-level, multi-type academic system which including many doctoral, master’s and bachelor degree programs. The university now has 16 provincial key academic and research programs, 5 post-doctoral research stations, 5 level one (national level) doctoral programs, 25 level two doctoral programs, 18 level three master programs, 91 level two master programs, 18 Master of Engineering and professional license of Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Accounting (MPAcc) programs, 68 undergraduate majors and 6 national special programs.
